j42d Holdings was created in response to a persistent and unmet need in our community — safe, affordable housing for individuals and families navigating recovery from substance use and mental health challenges.
Our founders recognized that housing stability is not just a comfort — it is a cornerstone of lasting recovery. Without a safe place to live, the work of recovery becomes exponentially harder. With it, individuals can focus on building the skills, relationships, and routines that sustain long-term wellness.
Our programming is rooted in the lived experiences of persons who have recovered from substance use and mental health disorders — disorders that are often identified as primary contributors to homelessness. We believe that peer connection is one of the most powerful catalysts for change.
